Research On The Urban Spatial Structure Based On Improving The Road Network Capacity

With the rapid urbanization process of china and the rapid increase of vehicle amount, traffic problem, such as traffic jam,traffic pollution and traffic safety, becomes more and more markedly. These problems influence seriously the sustainable development of urban, therefore, it is more exigent to solve traffic problem and prevent more urban from being influenced by traffic problem in the future.Based on improving the road network capacity and fundamental reason of resulting in traffic problem, that is urban spatial structure, this article studies how to solve traffic problem. First, the actuality and problem of present urban spatial structure are analyzed, developmental modes and the main form constituent ,such as network,industry,inhabitancy and public facilities of urban spatial structure are mainly analyzed. further, the mechanism of urban spatial structure influencing road network capacity is analyzed, the trip intensity and road network velocity ,which can be well used for study, are exerted and the material model of road network capacity is deduced. The approach of improving road network capacity from urban spatial structure is analyzed and summarized. The approach is reducing trip intensity and improving the road network velocity. The material approach , which can be carried out ,is put forward, that is setting bus special road network. The reason and method of setting bus special road network and the urban spatial structure of bus special road network are detailed discussed. China urban must adopt the developmental model with high density and compact. The mechanism of urban sustainable development by bus special road network is analyzed.In this article, urban planning science,traffic engineering science,urban economics,environmental science,urban design science behavior science and management are general used to analyze study urban traffic and the sustainable development of urban. New urban planning and traffic planning ideas, which can better guide the new area planning and construction of China urban, are put forward to solve traffic problem and carry out the sustainable development of urban.
