| The electric power system is a strong nonlinear system. Once its stability is destroyed, there must be huge economic losses and catastrophes. In the power plants, the boiler-turbine-generator as a whole is an integrated unit and their dynamics are highly coupled together. The control design based on the boiler-turbine-generator dynamics has not been considered due to their complexity. Using linear optimal control strategy, this paper studied integrated control of boiler-turbine-generator, designed optimal control law of integrated control of turbine, boiler and generator. Furthermore, control system of a 200 MW thermoelectric generation unit was simulated by MATLAB/Simulink. The result showed that this design method is feasible and effective. Finally, introducing the SimPowerSystems module of MATLAB, and a nonlinear one machine and infinite bus system was established through SimPowerSystems, optimal valve-excitation control was applied in it and making a further study of integrated control. |
