The synchronous sampling of AC data of power system is of great significance to relay protection, fault diagnosis, system stability analysis and control as well as the parameter measurement of transmission line under operation etc. In this paper, we conduct the research on the DSP-based synchronous sampling equipment of AC data of power system, adopt DSP chip TMS320F2812 that TI Corporation introduces newly as the core controller, use CPLD chip EPM1270 that belongs to the MAX II series to offer comprehensive logic control, provide the synchronous sampling pulse for the equipment through the GPS receiver GN-80, select high-speed multichannel synchronous A/D converter ADS7864 to conduct voltage and current acquisition, complete the design of software and hardware system. Furthermore, we carry on the manufacture, debugging of software and hardware as well as the performance test to the equipment. Testing result indicates that the research results have achieved the anticipated goal.
