The horizontal axis rotor WECS mainly is composed by the several parts: Wind rotor, breaking mechanism, transmission system, generator, tower, orientation mechanism and so on. The wind rotor's performance directly affects the wind generator set's efficiency, thus has the very high research value. The author used the Glauert model to design the blades of the 1.5MW wind energy conversation system. In view of the Glauert model's flaw, I carried on the optimized design to it by genetic algorithms. Considers the rated power limited, enormously reduced the chord value; And surpassed the annual energy output and power output characteristic as the optimized goal, calculated the geometry contour of 1.5MW fixed pitch wind turbine blade.
