It's a general phenomenon for the steam-turbine that the initial and the final parameters often vary. In this thesis, the varying condition characteristic of the regulating stage is profoundly analysed, and it simplifies the calculation of the efficiency. A method based on advanced Flugel formula to calculate exhaust enthalpy is proposed. In this thesis, it utilizes the thermo-economy state equation to calculate the performance of 600MW condensing turbine. It obtains the effect and the fair curves of unit heating rate and initial temperature, initial pressure, backing pressure and reheat temperature. The thermal characteristic experiment verifies the rationality and the accuracy of the calculated model. It provides theoretical evidence for the amendment of experimental results.
