In the last 20 years, with the development of the economics, tunnels and underground constructions are developing. In order to solve the problems of traffic and energy resources, the highway-tunnel, the railway-tunnel, the subway-tunnel, the concealed station, the water-guiding tunnel, the underground factory buildings, and so on, are building on a large scale. In the process of building and using the tunnels and underground constructions, the damage of the groundwater occurs at any time. In the past, people accumulated many experiences on fighting the groundwater and summarized the principles which is "To combine the prevent, blocking and cutting together, to suit the measure to local conditions, and to treat problems comprehensively " to prevent the tunnel's and underground constructions' groundwater, which make the technique of preventing the tunnel and underground's groundwater have a good development. " Much,long,huge,deep" will be the general develop trend of extra-long tunnel. Along with the length and depth of tunnel increased, the forecasts and disposal of geological natural calamity become the biggest obstacle in reconnaissance,design and construction deep and extra-long tunnel in future. One of the biggest geological calamities in the construction of deep and extra-long tunnel is water inflow. Water inflows in tunnel's construction not only decrease the stability of wall rock, but also bring much bad affection to the tunnel's construction. Especially in the case of a great deal of high pressure water inflow exists in construction, it will take fetal accidents usually. On the other hand, adopting much drainage to solve the ground water calamity problem would bring the environment problem at section that the tunnel goes through.This paper summarized the dewatering technique and successful experiments in domestic and overseas construction of deep and long tunnel, on this base, this paper in tunnel construction and the plan that may be adopted in Xiang Shan tunnel of Long Xia railway. In the light of the different geology conditions, mainly through the field tests to research and decide the high pressure, abundant water and karsts tunnel's grouting proposal, and through the room tests and field tests to choose the coagulated time surely controlled, having good un-dispersed properties, high strength, having good enduring properties, no poison, no pollution, price moderate's grouting material. And study grouting pressure, amount, extending radius and main ways to achieve the aim of well blocking the groundwater.
