As the economy of all over the world is developing quickly, the problem about energy sources and environment is catching more and more attentions from human beings. The traditional sources are not measureless and parts of these are causing environment problems. Wind power is clean and reproducible, this is coincident with our demands for new sources. Recently, the research of wind power is tending to "high capacity, high utilization efficiency", we should do more and more researches in the laboratory. So it is necessary to build a plateform simulating wind turbines.This paper describes the wind power generation systems ,the development of wind power in and out abroad generally, compares several kinds of wind power generation systems, and mainly does researches on simulating wind turbines based on the synchronous wind power generating system. When simulating wind turbines, it should approach the actual wind round. So this paper describes the characteristics and principle of wind turbines , expatiates the deduction of the P-n track and the capture of the largest wind power, and finally work out a track for asynchronous motor's changing speeds. Asynchronous motor is a important part of this plateform, this paper depicts the model of asynchronous motor, the principle of changing speed, vector control and coordinates' changing, detects how to simulate wind turbines and how to control the asynchronous motor.A set of simulations are well done in the paper, it builds up a simulating plateform of wind power generating system containing asynchronous motor. Because of the computer's operating ability, this paper simulates every part separately first, and after realizing speeds' changing of asynchronous motor, it connects the asynchronous motor and the synchronous dynamotor together in order to simulate wind turbine's T-n curves. And meanwhile it keeps the parameters of every module' inputs and outputs the same in order to ensure their join.Because of the limited conditions of laboratory, experiments are all carried out based on the converter's vector control. This paper designs the hardware control circuits and writes software in C language. The "Vector Control" we used decouples the controlling factors there and this makes asynchronous motor can be controlled easily like DC motor. Although we don't introduce asynchronous motor into the plateform, we also put the current into id,iq, prepared for the following researches. With experiments, the converter's current-loop control is well finished.
