| Nowadays, the world is short of the energy sources. Because of traditional engine depends on petroleum very much, the automobile engine as a symbol of modern world, is enduring of a great challenge which is produced by the lack of energy sources. The ultimate way of resolve the problem is decrease the lean of the petroleum sources. Explore and exploit the new energy sources are very important. The research on make the low calorific value gas fuel as the flue of engine has became a focus.The title of the paper is the research on the performance of the low calorific value gas flue engine. The object of the research is low calorific value gas flue engine. Take the experiment and simulation to research the engine's performance. Make the low calorific value gas flue as the components and proportion of real low calorific value gas flue and to research the engine's performance on the low calorific value gas flue.First, change a single cylinder diesel engine to a low calorific value gas flue engine by change the figure of the firebox, add the ignition system and fueling supply system, exploit the electronic control system of the engine.Second, do experimental research on the low calorific value gas flue engine, and we can get conclusion from the result of experiment as follow.(1) Because the calorific value of the low calorific value gas flue is low, when the engine works on it, the power of engine is lower than works on the CNG.(2) When the engine works on low calorific value gas flue, flue consume rate is higher than which works on CNG.(3) Because the calorific value of the low calorific value gas flue is low, the temperature of combustion is lower. When the engine works on low calorific value gas flue, the quantity of HC and CO emissions are higher than CNG engine. But the NO_X emission is lower than the engine works on CNG.Finally, simulation of the low calorific value gas flue engine is conducted by GT-power software. Change the angle of advance ignition and the proportion of the components of the low calorific value gas flue, research the combustion and emission performance, and get useful conclusion. |
