As the rapid development of information technology and computer technology, digital signal processing technology has gradually developed into a key science technology. With the development of mature technology MCU, a large number of applications already in use in digital signal processing. Phase measurement is of great significance in the power system, this thesis uses MSP430 as the core data acquisition and signal processing circuit mainly on how phase measurement will be applied to power system. This issue is based on the phase measurement needed in the power system, the aim to achieve the two-frequency sine wave measurement for research. On the base of lots of in-depth analysis at domestic and foreign, all segments of phase in measurement system were studied. According to the work flow of the phase measurement in power system, the system is divided into signal conditioning modules, data acquisition and processing module, liquid crystal display modules. It will also design and debug the various modules. Also in accordance with the characteristics of the power system, it increases the current, voltage measurements in Phase Measuring Instrument. In order to achieve requirements of low-power, this subject choices MSP430 microcontroller in particular, using two 1.5 V batteries as a power supply and other components such as HT1621, TLC2252 are also choose in accordance with the principle of low power consumption.The thesis has 6 Chart. The 1st chart introduces the status and history of the phase measurement in and out of China. The 2nd chart introduces 4 schemes of the phase measurement. By the compare of the 4 schemes, we choose a scheme suit to the thesis. The 3rd chart introduces the hardware design of the Phase Measuring Instrument. The 4th chart introduces the software design of the Phase Measuring Instrument. The 5th chart introduces the experiment and analyzes the data. The 6th chart makes a conclusion of the thesis.
