Low-speed maglev Vehicle Control Center (VCC) is the pivotal sub-system of the Maglev Operation Control System (MOCS) for message communication. The VCC counts the move authority (MA) and manages trains according to the dispatching commands, route states, line parameter, speed and location of train. Thus, VCC implements the security and efficiency of train movement and the message communication between On-Board equipment and ground equipment. The design and research of this system makes effects on the reliability and security of MOCS.At present, the technique of Train Control Center (TCC) for conventional Train Operation Control System has been mature, while the application of control technique for Low-speed maglev is not abroad. The research of VCC for Low-speed maglev is at the beginning. Based on the analyses of similarities and differences of control mode between maglev train and conventional train, a scheme of VCC for low-speed maglev train was designed with the application background of maglev train and the relative technique of TCC for high-speed train. The software of VCC was designed and the basic functions of VCC such as trains management and message communication were implemented. The simulation environment was constructed and functional verification for VCC was implemented.Main works are focused on the followings:Firstly, the functional requirement of VCC was analyzed based on the general instruction of MOCS. The overall structure of VCC and the interfaces between VCC and other sub-system of MOCS were designed with the technique of TCC for high-speed train.Secondly, the overall structure of the software for VCC was designed. The software of static data building, logic control and message communication of VCC was designed. The function of maglev train management, Temporary Speed Restriction (TSR) disposal, prompt of speed degrade and message communication between VCC and sub-system of MOCS was implemented.Thirdly, the simulation environment applied to experiment was constructed. The software of simulation sub-system of ATS (Automatic Train Supervision), CIS (Computer Interlock System) and Vehicle On-Board were designed. The basic functions of TSR sending and train operation were implemented.Finally, the scheme of experiment and test of VCC for the application of low-speed maglev train was designed. The experiment testing and functional verification for VCC was implemented based on the simulation environment under the condition of train tracing.
