In the context of rapid urbanization, the ecological environment in Dalian was destroyed by industrial and agricultural production, and land abuse. The ecological green space construction lack of reasonable planning and scientific method.In order to solve these ecological problems, based on landscape ecology and ecology theory , the article applied GIS technology to study on the construction pattern and mode of green space net in Dalian in-depth.The article applied suitability analysis methods to analysis and evaluate the ecological sensitivity in Dalian ,and the result can provide a scientific basis for land-use planning for the city. Applied landscape index calculation method, it analysed the landscape pattern of green space in Dalian to understand the construction status of urban green space. Applied suitability analysis methods,it analysed the function pattern of green space in Dalian to find the oversight of status construction and get the theoretical construction pattern of water-soil conservation, water conservation, eco-economic, landscape recreation and environmental protection green space. The article integrated and optimized the analysis result and construction status of green space to give reasonable plannings for various types of Greenland and an overall planning for Dalian. At the same time, the result can provide a basis for further planning. Finally, according the result of pattern analysis, the article proposed different modes to different types of green space in typical construction sites,which can provide effective technical support for the reality of construction.The results of this research are as follows:1. The overall landscape diversity is low in Dalian, but landscape distribution is more balanced, the fragmentation level is not high. The area of green space is larger than other types of land-use, except field, dominates in Dalian, and the connectivity of green space is better. The fragmentation of Eco-economic forest is highest,and that of watershed forest is lowest.2. There are 1144km2 area with higher ecological sensitivity in south of Dalian, accounting for 53.49 % of the southern area, that says the ecological sensitivity of southern of Dalian is high. The most sensitive regions are concentrated in southwestern of Ganjingzi District.3. The theoretical construction area of soil-water conservation forest in south of Dalian is 492.13 km2, accounting for 22.57 % of the total area.Except for the existing soil-water conservation forest, 402.39 km2 area should be added to soil-water conservation forest. 4. The theoretical construction area of watershed forest in south of Dalian is 613.61 km2, accounting for 26.83 % of the total area.Except for the existing watershed forest, 567.45 km2 area should be added to watershed forest.5. The area which is suit to construct eco-economic forest in south of Dalian is1796.96 km2, accounting for 84.1%of the total area.Except for the existing eco-economic forest, the area for future construction site is1673.29 km2.6. The area which is suit to construct landscape recreation forest in south of Dalian is 982.59 km2, accounting for 44.02 % of the total area.Except for the existing landscape recreation forest, the area for future construction site is 943.02 km2.7. The theoretical construction area of Environmental protection forest in south of Dalian is 405.9 km~2, accounting for 9.18%of the total area, but the status area is 124.21 km2, far smaller than requirement.8.Integrated five types of green space to get the construction pattern of green space net in south of Dalian, in theory, the area of important construction region of green spzce is 1052.23 km2, accounting for 49.52 %of the total area, far greater than 23% of the status.Except for the existing Urban green space , the area of increasing construction is 693.14 km2. These regions mainly concentrated in four parts: First, southwestern in Ganjingzi District and southeastern in Lushunkou District , the junction area of the two districts.Second, the south east corner of Jinzhou District.Third, north of Jinzhou District. Fourth, the whole of Dujia District and its surrounding areas and the small part of Kaifa District.9.The article proposed 41 modes to different types of green space in different construction levels and different site, while it summed up the suitable species of trees for different types.
