The modern motor engine testing technology develops very quickly, detection and analysis on electronically controlled engine on a variety of electronic signals has become one of the most important directions on the research of the vehicle. This paper analyzed the domestic and international automobile engine testing technology status quo on the study of the electronic control system of the engine and a signal on the basis of relevant to EFI engine stand for the experimental platform to a PC as the core, linking common hardware such as data acquisition card. In this paper, using virtual instrument technology platform LabVIEW strong signal analysis, processing and a good user interface, designed mainly for the collection, testing, comparative analysis of electronic engine control system signals and signals characteristic parameters of the engine testing system. In the course of system development, according to the channel signal acquisition signals in the frequency and number of modules, respectively, to achieve a single-channel signal in real-time display and fault detection signal contrast, single-channel signals in the rapid cycle, the associated signals such as dual-channel display Function. So that each module could achieve signals in the collection, analysis, waveform and the important parameters of the real-time display and the preservation of signal acquisition, playback and released.Research shows that the paper developed by the virtual engine experimental verification through inspection system to achieve the desired objectives. With less hardware to achieve the electronically controlled engine accurately detect the signal. Stable and reliable detection system is open and is conducive to the car engine testing experts, network-based, intelligent direction, based on virtual instrument technology so that the detection system easier to achieve technological upgrading and extensions.
