Asphalt Pavement cracking is the beginning of various diseases and the development of cracks in the road will directly affect the use of pavement performance. Cracks in the road not only have undermined the continuity, integrity and aesthetic feeling, but also will infiltrate water to soft subgrade even roadbed,which results in the road carrying capacity decline and accelerates road damage. At the same time, after infinitely long portrait asphalt surface layer cracked, its bearing model transformed into finite-size panels.When bearing circular wheel load, the cracking pavement may be broken into smaller size panels, even take place netcrack. With the cracks widen year by year and the edge broken and fractured, which reduce the smoothness of the road, they badly endanger the life and quality of the road.In order to reduce the formation of cracks in asphalt pavement and revive the development of cracks, this paper researches from the asphalt mixture, mainly introducts CAM asphalt mixture widespread use in Texas of the United States at present. In this paper, firstly applicate the Bailey method coefficient to analyze the grade of CAM asphalt mixture. Then on the basis of the reference at home and abroad, makes glaucum rocks as aggregate, adopted Shell new Guangdong (Foshan) Co., Ltd. asphalt production of high modulus modified asphalt for raw materials, produced the mineral aggregate for CAM, AC-13 and SAMI modified asphalt mixture. There are some tests on high-temperature stability, low-temperature cracking performance, and water stability of the forenamed asphalt mixture, a comparative study on the asphalt mixture such as Marshall Stability, soaking Marshall Stability, dynamic stability, strength parameters, Split and low temperature Performance indicators, the road performance of CAM asphalt mixture without sacrificing. At the same time, bending test, fatigue test and antireflection cracks test were done to CAM asphalt mixture, focusing on the asphalt mixture of crack resistance and bring forward indexes such as a crack in early life, life expectancy finally cracked to evaluate resist reflect cracks performance about the asphalt mixture Material in this paper. Compared to AC-13 its anti-cracking performance improved 44 percent.Through this study, the CAM mixture will have sufficient awareness and provide the experimental basis for the popularization application of the CAM asphalt mixture, as well as provide a new asphalt mixture for China's highway asphalt pavement construction project.
