| The whole-length surface contamination monitor is used in the entrance of the nuclear power station and other related workshop. Before the working people leaving, the monitor measures contamination degree on his body fast and avoid the pervasion. Base on the design of WBM-II whole-length surface p contamination monitor, the study on data processing technique is very important to the exactitude measuring radiation dose of the working people and the public.The rational framework structure, electronics circuits design and an advanced pneumatic equipment design are the foundation of contamination monitor. In this paper, we first discuss its framework. The measuring process to body and hardware settings are also researched. The working principle and circuit design are studied. The pneumatic equipment and the situation of pneumatic loop are discussed also. The monitor uses large area gas-flow, its plumb depth is the least intercept ofβparticle entrance, and estimating the energy loss ofβparticle, judging detection effect and signal-to-noise whether being optimal. The monitor uses 17 counting channels and setups multi functions to shield inspect channels and infrared localizers, to control indicator lights, doors and baluster. It increases scale functions for former amplifier high voltage digit adjust, auto-measurement of level curves and efficiency measurement.After all studies above, a method of data processing is studied in-depth in this paper. Main method of data processing are studied on counting efficiency, detection limitation, aberrance coefficient, background smoothness, forced mode contaminated alarming, auto mode alarming, time measurement calculating and detector apron measuring. Aiming at background data disturb, we study a method of background data processing and a method of setting alarming thresholds of monitor background high or low. According to measuring situation, study measure method of probe's blind area and setting method of general contamination alarming threshold parameter and measuring time parameter. We study functions of monitor auto-detection, high voltage measurement, failure detection, data holding, channel forbidding and software actualization.According to the related criterion and technical requirement, we test the equipment in the real environment, validate the functions of monitor apron curve, efficiency scale, aberrance coefficient and lowest detecting ability. The monitor's data measuring method and data processing method are reasonable, they satisfy requirements of designing technology. |
