In the percent years,China achive great development in pretressed concrete bridge engineering.The pretressed reinforcement concrete suspension bridge is a new kind of suspension bridge which is easy to contruct and is more economical,more durable than other suspension bridges,so it attracts the attention of the world.It is a important developing direction and tendency of the suspension bridge.In this paper,the prestressed concrete stiffened girder suspension bridge is contrasted with steel box girder suspension bridge on two conditions.The first condition;Meeting the bending rigidity of stiffened girder,the prestressed concrete stiffened girder' s vertical deflection is less than the A steel box girder.The second condition;When the stiffened girder' s stress is closed to allowable stress,according Elastic Theory,The B steel box girder' s vertical deflection is the most one of the three contrasted suspension bridges.In addition,the paper involves the gravitational rigidity,through calculation,the result shows the prestressed concret suspension bridge' s wire cable deflection is the lest one of the same three suspension bridges.For this proofs,the prestressed concret stiffened girder suspension bridge is better than other kind of suspension bridge on live load deformation and deflection,because concret stiffened girder's dead weight is very heavy.At the same time,within the span of 800 meters,the prestressed reinforcement concret stiffened girder suspension bridge can be constructed.
