Development Of A 300kV Accelerating Tube

To meet the requirement of Beijing Radioactive Ion-beam Facilities (BRIF), A 300 KV accelerating tube which is 1.2 meters' long and made of 49 pieces of stainless steel electrodes and 48 pieces of glass insulating rings has been developed for the injector of HI-13 Tandem Accelerator. Detail technology process and associated studies for tube development are presented in this paper. The high voltage and vacuum test of the tube has been carried out and good results have been achieved.
