The increasing exploitation of underground water leads to the lower, sink or subsidence of the ground, espcially in the loose alluvium, lake or shallow sea.It is common in developed region that exploitation of underground water causes the wide subsidence of the ground.Research into surface subsidence is also helpful to the developing regions that will encounter the same problems. The thesis aims at adding a coupling equation that reflects the relation between the infiltration coefficient and the small rate of change of hole, putting forward the equationof infiltration and stress during the subsidence, the numerical solution and the analytical solution of the two-dimension and three-dimension,and the simplification of the calculation in practice, and doing some analysis and calculation about certain examples. Through further discussion on the available consolidation theory, the comparison between Biot theory and various dimension theories, and the physics function of the coupling infiltration equation , about all the factors that affects the infiltation coefficient, and about the influence of the changes of infiltration coefficient on calculation of consolidation. We can find that during the calculation of the subsidence of surface consolidation, the change of infiltration coefficient has no influence on the final amount of subsidence, but has great influnce on the reflection of whole process of subsidence. Concerning about the change of infiltration coefficient during the process of consolidation and subsidence can better reflect the process of consolidation and has great influence to predict and prevent subsidence.
