With the ripid development of notional economy and power industry, the dependability of the power system is becoming more and more important.Electrical transformer is among the most important electrical equipment of power system.So dependable and intelligent power transformer online detector was required. This paper researchs on the online detective theory of the power transformer open circuit loss and load loss,and develop the power transformer condition online detective apparatus base on the theroy researched. This device can preview and restore the burst troubles, so it could be considered as a"black-box"for the transformer.Firstly, this paper shows a method to detective the open circuit loss and the load loss of the there-phase power transformer online by operating the real-time voltage and current of the transformer. The paper also shows the algorithms on sevaral different kinds of connecting group power transformer, including those with neutral wires ,like Y/y,Y/y0,D/y,D/y0,D/d and Y0/d, based on the method to online-detective the open circuit loss and the load loss of the there-phase transformer referenced above.Secondly, this paper designs the harware and sofeware system of the detective device.It uses DSP technology to analyze and record the conditions of the transformer. The device is a powerful digital detective system with friendly man-machine conversation interface. The sofeware of the system is designed by the blocking principle.In the paper,we show the blocks of the sofeware system.Then ,we justify the online detective thoery of power transforer open circuit loss and load loss by doing the power transformer experiment.At last,the research summarizes and shows that the detective method has wide prospects of application the device developed.
