In recent years latticed shell is a widespread spatial structure in the architectural engineering because of the reasonable stress,the economic materials, the beautiful modelling and can cover big space. its structure diversifies, span is big and the weight is light.So the stability calculation problem on the latticed shell structure becomes importment in the structure design and construction installment.The article main work was stability reseach of latticed shell.1.Generalized the birth, development, classification and application on latticed shell structure; Summarized the good and bad points, and foresees its development tendency.2.Introducing development, characteristic and non-linear type of the finite element method; Infering the spatial strut unit tangent rigidity matrix and the spatial beam unit tangen rigidity matrix, which provide necessary data for stability analysis on the latticed shell.3.Expounding phenomenon that the latticed shell lost stability and generalized the development and computational methodof the stability analysis4.Taking a 100-meter-span spherical surface latticed shell for example, going on the stability analysis by ANSYS. concluding the factors that influence single-layer spherical surface latticed shell stability:the initial flaw,the load type and distribution,the material character and so on.
