Element combination form and self balanced prestressed steel structure is a new spatialsystem composed by prestressed cable and strut elements. The element and the whole structurecan keep balance themselves, no needing load-bearing structure or stiff annular beam. The 300-meter-span spherical surface latticed shell was composed by self-balanced prestressed cableand strut elements in kweitt grid mode. The grid size, structural height and structuralthickness were designed which based on the existent research conclusion and the peculiaritiesof the self-balanced structure. The large finite element software Ansys was used to takestructural calculation and static analysis. The analysis showed that the structural stress anddeformation were in allowable range by proper designs, and lots of steels were saved.Firstly, the development and application of prestressed latticed shell was generalized, andthe main problem in practice was pointed out and a new element combination form and self-balanced spatial prestressed steel structure system was presented; Secondly, the theoretical andexperimental reach results on element combination form and self-balanced prestressed steelstructure were introduced, and the possibility and the superiority of this structure in practicewas verified; Thirdly, the basic principle of the spatial strut finite element method and theprocess of static analysis were described, which was the theoretical foundation for the nextanalysis. Finally, composing the 300-meter-span spherical surface latticed shell by self-balanced elements, the feasibility in super spatial structure with element combination form andself-balanced prestressed steel structure was demonstrated by imitation reality analysis andcontrastive analysis; Then the designs of the basic element and joints and abutments wereintroduced and the antiseptic and fireproof method and installation process were illustrated.
