The Cost Difference Analysis Of Traditional Bus And Hybrid Electric Bus Based On The Life Cycle Theory

With the growth of vehicle inventory, two factors, the environmental impact from automotive products and the Energy pressure, have constrained the sustainable development of the auto industry. However, among various types of electric vechicle, Hybrid electric vehicle has been the most promising product in industrialization and market prospect.In this paper, On the base of the lifecycle cost theory and the life cycle Assessment theory, the cost model of the auto's lifecycle has been structured which include social cost etc. After comparing Traditional bus with Hybrid electric bus, the cost difference model of lifecycle is founded. The lifecycle cost including social cost is very complex, and the correlated study is very few in our country at present. So, the paper synthesize qualitative and quantitative analysis measure. Firstly, for calculating the cost of fuel production and transportation pollution and emission emission, the soft of GREET has been used; Secondly, other cost items are estimated through carefully analysing the data deeply investigated from the department of distribution,production and design. The result account for that the life cycle cost of Hybrid electric vehicle including social cost is very expensive, R&D cost and manufacture cost expensively is the key reason . moreover , the fuel cost and social cost of Hybrid electric vehicle is relatively cheaper. The paper analysis factors adopting Sensitivity Analysis. The result account for that fuel price and fuel efficiency is key factor influencing the life cycle cost of Hybrid electric vehicle. Other factor's influence is comparatively small. Finally, This paper has put forward the policy suggestion for developing Hybrid electric vehicle.This paper has estimated the cost difference of auto's lifecycle. The methods adopted in the paper are original,complete and credible, and useful for empoldering a new car and estimating the cost.
