In this paper, the development and application situation of domestic and overseas steel-concrete mixed structure has been introduced. The experimental research,theoretical analysis,calculation software,codes and regulations of steel-concrete mixed structure at home and abroad have been summarized. Some basic issues on elasto-plastic earthquake response analysis for high-rise steel-concrete mixed structure have been discussed detailedly.The experimental results of a three-story model of 1/5 scale of one hidden steel beam slab-column concrete tube mixed structure have been detailed analysis. Thus, meaningful conclusions on engineering design and code modification have been obtained.The elastio-plastic analysis program on steel-concrete mixed structure has been further perfected which was programmed by visual basic 6.0. So the whole process of elastio-plastic analysis on steel-concrete mixed structure has been obtained under the action of different earthquake waves. Firstly, the theory about the nonlinear static analysis with the plane linkage model has been illustrated in detail, the comparative analysis of the program analysis results and the experimental results have been done. Secondly, an explicit direct integration has been used to solve the dynamic balance equation with the negative stiffness. Moreover, this programme could analyze the whole elastio-plastic analysis process on the minor high-rise steel-concrete mixed structure which was designed before under four typical earthquake waves.Thirdly, the design parameters of the high-rise steel- concrete mixed structure have been explored to investigate the different seismic behavior.The Contrastive analysis and optimization on the wall systems of the steel structure residence home and abroad have been made, the wall system which is suitable to minor high-rise steel-concrete mixed structure has been put forward. The external window of the steel structure and the solar technology of residence have been optimal intergrated.Finally, Some suggestions have been put forward for the actual design of the steel-concrete mixed structure system on the basis of experimental research, theoretical analysis and correlative code for our country and abroad.
