Electromagnetic fiowmeter is one of the wildly used liquid detecting meters. There are two calibration ways for electromagnetic fiowmeter: wet calibration and dry calibration. Nowadays, the wet way is wildly used for its simple theory and high precision; compared with wet calibration, there is no perfect theory for electromagnetic fiowmeter dry calibration and some dry calibration technologies have not met the demand of application. However, dry calibration method has more superiorities than wet calibration and has good prospect in the future, so many scientific researchers and electromagnetic fiowmeter manufactures are paying great attention to improving dry calibration technologies.The Russian dry calibration way of electromagnetic fiowmeter has the relatively perfect theory and, especially, has been applied and approved in industrialization stage. The national Key Laboratory of Fluid Power Transmission and Control in Zhejiang University has imported one dry calibration device called POTOK form Russia. This study comes from the China-Russia cooperative project. In the study, I have done the following work: try to be familiar with the new dry calibration theory; cooperate with the Russians to make the device applicable for the electromagnetic flowmeters in China. Based on the content and features of the study, the thesis is divided into five chapters as below:The first chapter generally summarizes the information of electromagnetic fiowmeter and its calibration, introduces the research status of dry calibration at home and abroad and particularly introduces the Russian dry calibration technology for electromagnetic fiowmeter, then lists the aim and content of the study.The second chapter introduces the configuration and features of the Russian dry calibration device POTOK, and illustrates the principle of the electromagnetic fiowmeter dry calibration technology used in POTOK.The third chapter introduces the electromagnetic fiowmeter dry and wet comparative test in detail. At the beginning of this chapter, the thesis introduces the purpose of the test and the select way of the test samples, and then introduces the test in two parts: electromagnetic fiowmeter wet calibration test and electromagnetic fiowmeter dry calibration test.The fourth chapter introduces the validation test of POTOK. In the chapter, application effectivity of the Russian dry calibration method for electromagnetic fiowmeter is evaluated through experimentation.Finally, this thesis sums up several key points of the Russian dry calibration technology, lists the disadvantages of POTOK found in my study, and makes the expectation of the dry calibration technology in our country.
