The parameters of electric vehicle have a marked influence on its power performance and range, for example the motor's power, ratio and their matching. The thesis is mainly researching on using the optimization theory to design the electric vehicle's drive system to achieve the parameters optimization and the whole performance of the vehicle.Based on the State Ministry of Science and Technology "863" special issue of major electric vehicles, "the development of pure electric vehicles" for related research, mainly on pure electric vehicle simulation model and simulation software to work.This paper first discusses the basic structure of the electric vehicle and its reference technology, the battery, the motor and its control, and the energy management system. The main difference between the electric vehicle and the fuel vehicle is the drive system. Despite of the electric vehicle is using for reference of the fuel vehicle, but it has its owned character, the structure, performance and technology parameters. Then select the power parts of battery and motor through the compare of different kinds of drive system disposal. Based on the disposal, study the parameters selection and their matching, and put forward a reasonable principle to design the drive system of electric vehicle, and choose the parameters of the under design electric vehicle. The PSAT simulation software as a platform, PSAT is a very strong function of the simulation software, the final PSAT will be completed by the middle of the whole dynamic simulation. Established in the PSAT in the various subsystems model, the final connection, operation, and that concrete results of its analysis of text using different conditions in the simulation study, a major analysis of the dynamic performance of electric vehicles, to verify matching power systems meet the requirements of dynamic performance indicators.At last, on the bench test electric vehicle power-train and vehicle dynamic performance tests. The use of AC motor as a power plant, in motor test stand on the shelves of Electric Vehicle Power-train system main components joint debugging, testing power-train system of communication, management, control and coordination functions, and an improved verification the parameters matching is reasonable.
