Because of the complication of the car flow in Chinese railway and the variety of the demand and supply in railway market, it is faced up to the higher standard that the transportation operation and adaptation and control measures to be more economic, timely, various and reliable.In this paper, the assembly process and stable time are analysised, and the distribution of the assembly time interval is calculated, and some indexes such as the quantity of the cars is discussed. The assembly patterns are discussed, including the full train pattern and the stable point one, by the way of describe the indexes such as the assembly possibility, distribution priciples and the process charts. By analysing the carrying capacity, the utilizing rate and the locomotive capacity, it is discussed that the technical feasibility of the stable point assembly pattern. Finally, we carry out the economic benefit analysis and evaluation.In this paper, we discussed the assembly priciple in marshalling station, the technique parameters in different assembly patterns, the carrying capacity of the existing line and the economic benefit, which is demonstrated by the caculation and analysis of the Shanhaiguan Railway Station as an example. This pattern is feasible both in technique view and in economic view.
