In recent decades, earthquake disaster frequently occurred all over the world. And bridges are lifeline engineering, once destroyed, it will bring great damage to the lives and properties of people. It is necessary to make an in-depth study and analysis to the seismic performance of bridges, which is an important factor for safety. In this thesis, taking one long span continuous beam bridge as an example, based on the basic theory of the seismic response analysis, two methods including spectrum response analysis and time-history analysis of earthquake are applied to the bridge. The main content in this thesis includes:(1)Establish reasonable calculation model of bridge and calculate the self-vibration characteristic of the bridge.(2)Two methods including spectrum response analysis and time-history analysis of earthquake are applied to the bridge; Consider the influence of the pile-soil interaction to the seismic response of the bridge. Consider the influence of the different value of the "m" to the seismic response of the bridge.(3)The main conclusions drawn from above include:Firstly, the pile-soil interaction decreases the internal force of the abutment pier and increases the displacement. Secondary, the different value of the "m" has noticeable influence on the resunlt of the pile . Finally, multiple-support excitation increases the seismic effect of the abutment pier.It is expected to give some references for practical seismic design of continuous beam bridges.
