Pile foundation is a kind of deep foundation which is widely used in bridge engineering. Pile foundation has many advantages of high-capacity, small deformation or settlement, and can be made easily etc. However, it is difficult and laborious usually to achieve the pile foundation's design and calculation. With improvement of the pile foundation's analysis and calculation, it is imperative for engineering design to use computer. At present, all kinds of structures on the design, optimization and intelligent design in the computer systems are carried out, and many of them have got into practical stage. However, because of the complexity of the pile-soil system , there are many practical difficulties to develop a more comprehensive function, widely applicable to general conditions of pile foundation engineering design.Based spatial analysis and matrix displacement method for the foundation, the Geo. Graduate School of Southwest Jiaotong University makes the program about the design in the pile foundation of the railway bridge , and used for many years in Zhengzhou Railway Bureau. Based on the basis of research, the author debug the program further, and uses Windows and Visual Basic language to develop the new interface that allows system to complete the graphics output and input functionality on the same operating platform , the system will improve the level of automation greatly. Using the system to one of the engineering in " Analysis and Design on Pile Foundation of Bridge", the results are in good agreement with the results. Designers can also run it in the environment of AutoCAD for the second edit to make the plan more completely.
