The paper has investigated the fluid viscous dampers so as to solve the existing problems of certain a type of isolator that the traditional linear isolator composed of spring and viscous damping can not meet the actual requirements. Based on the research of related technologies and theories of fluid viscous dampers, this paper has done a thorough research on isolators. Different linearities are obtained by parameters match and analysis of hydraulic damper damping force. Methods of adjusting the stiffness and frequency of air spring are proposed based on the performance analysis. This paper has also done a good research on the design and test programs of gas-liquid mixture isolator, the application of viscous fluid dampers to vibration isolation as well as how to establish a gas-liquid mixture isolator with viscous fluid dampers as its core. A gas-liquid mixture double bellows isolator, which displays the characteristics of gas-liquid mixture isolator, is designed according to the characteristics of isolators, completing the research and development task and satisfying the practical requirements.The main research work includes the following:The physical mechanism of the viscous fluid damping formation is clarified. Based on the flow law of viscous fluid, the damping forces of viscous fluid under different flow conditions are analyzed and functions to describe the damping force changing law are established, which includes relations between the damper fluid flow speed, the flow state of fluid, the formation of damping forces, etc, and the damping forces. Analyses of the damping forces of viscous fluid dampers are also conducted.After the systematic analysis of the domestic and international research status quo of air springs, the working principles and characteristics of them are introduced in detail and the method of calculating and adjusting the frequency and stiffness of air springs proposed.A bellows-type gas-liquid mixture isolator physical model is established in accordance with the viscous fluid damping and characteristics of air springs, and its two-parameter model and the three-parameter model are calculated and compared. A prototype test is done on the gas-liquid mixture isolator. The viscous fluid damping and the vibration transmission rates are analyzed as well.
