| The study of piping is of importance to several disciplines, such as Geotechnical Engineering, Hydrodynamics. In this dissertation, simulation on generation and evolution of piping under water level of dam getting a specially state is performed on FEM.This dissertation starts with an introduction of this study discipline. Based on the research of others, research on piping of saturated soils is proposed. 3-dimensional unsteady seepage model of saturated soils is considered. Dam-break of Jiujiang dam is simulated by abaqus and the reasons of dam-break are present.
