The double puzzle of energy and environment make a good significance of hydrogen research. Hydrogen, the most promising energy, is also researched as a kind of fuel for engine. The diesel engine is widely used than before and has gradually become the first choice for automobiles, because of its higher fuel economy and lower HC and CO emission. For the other hand, hydrogen is a kind of cleanness energy; its combustion production is water only. Therefore, the research of the diesel engine and hydrogen is significance.The object of research is mixing fuel-hydrogen combustion on diesel engine. The research methods are engine test bench and computer simulation. The innovation of the paper is that make hydrogen as a fuel of Diesel.Firstly, we developed the system of hydrogen. The work include that choose an install the redactor and flow meter of hydrogen, and design and make injector of hydrogen.Secondly, study the combustion and emission performance on mixing fuel-hydrogen combustion on diesel with experiment. We can get conclusion from the result of experiment.(1) For mixing fuel-hydrogen combustion on diesel engine, when mixing hydrogen, fuel consume is higher than common diesel engine.(2) For mixing fuel-hydrogen combustion on diesel engine, when mixing hydrogen, the soot and HC emission is lager lower than common diesel engine.(3) For mixing fuel-hydrogen combustion on diesel engine, when mixing hydrogen, the NOx emission is lower common diesel engine at low power area; the NOx emission is higher common diesel engine at high power area.Finally, simulation of mixing fuel-hydrogen combustion on diesel engine is conducted by GT-power software. Changed the angle of advance injection and scale of charge, research the combustion and emission performance, and get useful conclusion.
