The Research About Standardization Management Of Radiation Protection In Pressurized Water Reactor Power Plant

Radiation protection is a crucial part of safety management in nuclear power plant. Nowadays, there lies a big difference in the management concept and management mode of radiation protection in China's pressurized water reactor power plant, which has a bad influence on the formation of standardization management of radiation protection, because of the introduction of foreign nuclear power technology and diverse designed standards. Problems arise from the following aspects: management concept, organization structure, training and authorization system, radiation work permit system, and zoning standards of radiation protection are different; study on the radiation source term control is inadequate; individual dose monitoring and management system and radiation protection optimization system should be further improved; some practical measures for radiation control have not been popularized.The author holds the opinion that those efforts mentioned below should be made to push forward the management of radiation protection in pressurized water reactor power plant in our country and further promote the achievements of radiation dose control : To cultivate the management concept of"self-protection", set up a standardized management organization, and clarify the scope of radiation protection, establish a system with level-1and level-2 for training and authorization, implement training and qualification system with grade, set up radiation work permit system for radiation work which covers all the work in radio logically controlled area, divide the radio logically controlled area into four sections according to ambient dose rate, strengthen the study on radiation source term-generating mechanism and control method,popularize the effective control methods of radiation source term,standardize the monitoring of weak penetrating radiation, promote the authentication of individual dose lab and the nation-level individual dose registration system, fulfill the responsibility of staffs of all levels for the implementation of radiation protection optimization, improve the organization for radiation protection optimization, strengthen the hierarchical management and experience feedback of radiation protection optimization, and popularize with great efforts the effective measures of radiation control.
