Since satellite navigation systems are having more close relationship with human beings, More and more countries in the world have begun the research of navigation system, among which are GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO and Beidou. However, there are confusing matters in satellite navigation system, which will heavily prevent navigation system from operating well. Pseudolite can function well in these navigation systems, helping solve the aboved problems.This thesis makes some invest into the generating of pseudolite signals. It first briefly introduces the development, status and issue of Global Positioning System, and makes a summary on the development of GPS pseudolite. Then the thesis analyzed the principle and the structure of GPS pseudolite signal. After that, the thesis presents a design of pseudolite generator, proposes a kind of schematic. The thesis not only gives a proposal of pseudolite signal generator, but refers to the experiment on cycloe III for intermediate signal generating, and the upconversion of medium signal with ADF4360-4, AD8343ARU.After the implementation of PCB, the thesis made experiment on RF signal with spectrum analyzer. Experiment shows that whole system meets the requirements of designers.
