As an important MEMS inertia device, micro-accelerator has been widely used in aircraft and automotive industry, but its application in computer input device is not popularize, the potential advantage of its usage in computer input device has not been dug out. The research of input device and game control device based on micro-accelerator and wireless communication technology, which not only can develop a serial of multifunctional and more comfortable input device, but also enhance the market of micro-accelerator, boost the development of MEMS technology, thus has a significant meaning.This project researches the wireless air input device based on micro-accelerator, through the integration of micro-accelerator, wireless communication chip, ARM processor and USB interface module, to construct a hardware implementation. As the hardware of this project has chosen micro-accelerator to detect displacement, and has integrated the advanced microprocessor and high-speed wireless multi-channel, USB interface, etc. The software includes ARM system operation, wireless data transmission, USB firmware driver as well as upper PC application program. Based on the schematics of circuit design and the finish of hardware, the thesis realizes all the functions of the AIR_MOUSE system. There are many merits of the design, thus has a nice application foreground.(1) The kernel of the system is a micro-accelerator, which can accurately detect the movement of device, and can count the velocity and displacement through integral, so the device can leave the desktop to work, and can control the computer through the movement of any part of human body.(2) The device has taken the most advanced 2.4G wireless communication technology, the ShockBurst technology to ensure high communication velocity and low power consumption, and its small volume and wireless character can let the device to get rid of the bind of wires, and can be designed to any kind of shape, thus can be easily integrated into many application devices, to extent its applications.(3) The device has taken the USB interface technology. USB interface has so many advantages, such as easy to use, fast, reliable, inexpensive, Power-conserving, Supported by the Windows and other operating systems, so there's no need to fiddle with configuration and setup details, the interface doesn't become a communications bottleneck, save energy and extend battery life in portable computers and devices, developers don't have to write low-level drivers to communicate with the peripherals, and finally manufacturers and users don't balk at the price.(4) All the operations, including acceleration sampling, integral, coding, and wireless transformation, are being implemented in a embedded microprocessor through software programming, which can greatly decrease the noise and influence of different devices, thus can improve the accuracy of the system and save the cost.(5) This thesis mainly explicates the theory of system realization and processes of the software and hardware realizations from the perspectives of wireless data transmission and USB interface system. The hardware include the modules of power supply, LPC2210 module, ADXL203 signal acquisition, nRF2401 signal transition module, USB interface, etc.
