Electronic linear accelerator is a device commonly used in large container inspection area.The X-ray can penetrate the surface of an object and form an image on the detector for object identification.The working state of pulse high voltage modulator,magnetron and accelerator determines the imaging quality.Their working state depends on the response speed and control efficiency of the control system.There are some problems in the traditional electronic linear accelerator control system,such as low working efficiency,untimely response of filament current regulation,poor safety performance of gun high voltage regulation and incomplete interlocking signals.Among the controllers used in the current electronic linear accelerator control system,PLC has the advantages of higher reliability and stronger anti-interference ability.S7-1200 PLC is a new PLC introduced by Siemens.It has great advantages in program processing speed and communication ability.Therefore,the research on the design of electronic linear accelerator control system based on S7-1200 PLC has very important engineering application value.Based on the analysis and research of the development of the electronic linac control system and the actual situation of the existing electronic linac control system,a general design scheme of electronic linear accelerator control system based on S7-1200 PLC is presented.The overall design structure of the control system,including the control mode of the control system,the hardware design and software design of the system,is proposed.The design of control module,parameter setting module,alarm module and display module is completed.The functions of automatic regulation of filament current,signal acquisition and processing,calculation of display value,digital regulation of gun high voltage,timing of high voltage and low voltage,and safety interlocking alarm are realized.The experimental results show that the proposed electronic linear accelerator control system based on S7-1200 PLC can meet the control requirements.A new design scheme is provided for the control system of electronic linear accelerator.Through the analysis of the experimental results,the feasibility of the design scheme is verified,and the stability and safety of the electronic linear accelerator system are improved.
