The method of exhaust gas recirculation has been used widely in order to reduce the emission of oxynitride.But this technique still has many limitation and the increase of inert gases in the intake air has the same effec as exhaust gas recirculation.So the nitrogen enriched intake air combustion becomes a effective method to take the place of exhaust gas recirculation.This paper analyzes the process of nitrogen enriched combustion, the nitrogen gas as a thinner,reduce the reactant concentration,decline the combustion temperture,reduce the export power and the the emission of oxynitride decrease very fast.Besides,this paper expound the oxidation mechanism of isooctane and use the chemical dynamics software CHEMKIN to simulate the nitrogen enriched intake air combustion in order to find out the relationship of main middle production with the change of nitrogen concentration.This thesis uses the simulation software GT-POWER to build the combustion model in order to simulation the enriched nitrogen combusition process. Calculating the power performance and emission performance under different rotate speed,different load,different compression ratio on different intake nitrogen content.
