With the development of underground space, there are more and more shield tunnel projects driving through each other closely. Therefore, how to reduce disturbance and deformation during construction, which makes sure the operated tunnel is safe and normal operating, is a problem urged to be resolved in present shield tunnel construction.The paper analyzes the distortion law of the operating metro tunnel during the verge passing of shield combining with one engineering example in Shanghai; and analyzes the effect of the main construction parameter such as the front pressure, grouting amount and propulsive velocity to the tunnel deformation in the special condition of the slurry shield through the soil with confined aquifer.The paper studies the general rule of the tunnel settlement variation during the verge passing of shield in close distance with the three-dimensional mindlin solution; the paper also summarizes the relation of stratum loss and the volume of settler when the hard stratum exists in the upward side; and imitates the practical engineering using finite element software in order to confirm the analytical result.According to the analysis having been completed the paper at last raises some technical measures which can decrease construction disturbance and control the deformation of the metro.
