With Urbanization and economic development in our country, the total number of motor vehicles registered is growing rapidly. Traffic jam has been a big problem in city. Land development is the main factor of traffic generation. TIA in land development can reduce the impact of traffic jam bring by the development. The main technology in TIA is the traffic forecast, and one of the key parts is traffic assignment.A summary of delay model in different intersections is given, include signal and unsignal.Equilibrium models are commonly used in urban road network Traffic assignment. A summary of Equilibrium models is given include DUE(determined user Equilibrium) and SUE(stochastic user Equilibrium).Intersection delay is an factor that can not be ignored by vehicle travelers in urban road network. Intersection delay model is combined with traffic assignment model to make the assignment better performance. Signal optimization and channelization are also introduced to the model, which make the new kind of CATC model performs better.The importance and key technologies of TIA assignment have been analyzed. The LOS analysis of signal intersection should take the control factor and channelization into account. The background trips and site trips assignment are compared and some suggests are proposed.In the finality, an example is given to test the new model and received a satisfying result.
