Concrete, as a kind of multi-phase, multi-level, and inhomogeneous composite, has the properties of nonlinear and nonisotropic. The macroscopical theories which are used frequently can't reflect these properties easily. The method of meso-mechanics in concrete is defined that inhomogeneous composite containing coarse aggregates, mortar matrix, and transition zone between cement paste and aggregate, using proper meso-structural model and effectual numerical method, simulate the whole process of the deformation and cracking of concrete. It can reflect the cracking mechanism of the concrete. Consequently, the research of meso-structural numerical simulation in concrete by random convex polyhedral aggregate model is becoming one of the hot issues of current researchs on concrete materials.This paper presents the basic model of meso- numerical simulation in concrete and an the research progress both domestic and overseas firstly. And then, set up the random convex polyhedral aggregate model of concrete both with 2d and 3d, basing on the primary researches. At last, take the computerized simulation and analysis in 2d which analyzed the mechanics performance of concrete influenced by coarse aggregates using the model made by this paper. Therefore, this paper is made of five chapters:The first chapter presents the former meso-structural models in concrete, and makes comprehensive and integrative analyses. Pick out the problems nowadays and point out the research direction of this paper.Chapter two sets up the random convex polyhedral aggregate model of concrete with 2d which basing on the primary researches. The research with 2d is not singularly at present. This paper sums up and analyses the tradition methods, and the programs that mature and efficient were executed.Chapter three narrates that modeling and existing problem of random convex polyhedral aggregate model of 3d specially, and mentions of the new growth manner of aggregates and the method to judge that aggregates is intersecting, and mutuality programs that cost less time and validity were executed. Chapter four analyses the model that executed in chapter two and chapter three, and sets up the mature reseau analysis method of random convex polyhedral aggregate model of 2d and 3d.Chapter five analyses the effect of coarse aggregates to the concrete mechanics by computerized simulation base on the 2d model that executed on chapter two, and some significative conclusion were received in this chapter.
