Cable-stayed bridge is applied widely because of having the advantage of its application, security, economy, aesthetic sensibility and so on. Especially in the span of 300~800 meters, when compared with other types of bridges, the cable-stayed bridge is much better than others on its technical and economy. So the cable-stayed bridge is increasing gradually in our country. But with the time passing by, more and more problems are founded, especially the corrosion of its cables and anchorages. Its inclined cables have to be replaced by new ones because of corrosion taking place. The erodible destruction of inclined cables mainly involves two aspects, one is the destructive of PE pipe, and another is the rusty destruction of anchorage.This paper focuses on the following six aspects in light of the problems.1. Try to make a clear distinction for atmospheric corrosion of our region, for the design of the bridge preservation.2. After have maked statistical analysis of corrosion failure of the domestic and international cable-stayed bridge, analyzed the cable damage mechanism. Stayed Cable system led to the corrosion of the reasons for failure in general is divided into two categories: First, the cable system protection system failure, which led to corrosion of cable system failure. The second is the existence finished cable initial flaw main in the performance of protective system, internal, and high-strength steel. According to the survey analysis, the method to resolve the problem of PE sheath cracking is the key point of solving corrosion cable system failure problems.3. Research on PE sheath reinforced and tenacity.On the basis of the full understanding the performance of HDPE sheath, researched the fiberglass and particles of PE materials enhance the effect of toughening. The results show that the fiberglass-reinforced materials and nanotechnology significantly can improve the performance of HDPE material properties.4. Through control micro corrosion environment of cable realizes the cable anticorrosion,the paper has studied the way and effect of controlling Internal micro corrosion environment,and proposed that the cable circular telegram heating dehumidification is suitable for the diagonal cable bridge cable protection.5. This paper introduces cable characteristic and cause of various vibration morphology and corresponding damping method6. Cable anchorage structure,anchorage waterproof structure and cable vitro post protection etc has been studied preliminarily,and several vitropost protection is proposed,so it has guaranteed the cable service life effectively.
