With the improvement of road grading, multi-span and high pier continuous rigid frame bridges have been build in the western mountain areas. They have brought many new problems. It need further study that such as changes in the mechanics performance of structure, structural curve controlling, closure technic and so on. These problems which rely on the Chao-yang-si Bridge were analyzed in this paper.(1) For the three-span continuous rigid-frame bridge, it is the mechanics performance of beam and pier that was effected, when the change of pier difference height. Also, creep effect was analyzed to the beam and the pier. Some disciplines were founded.(2) The factors which affect comfort were discussed, rely on structure dynamics. The relationship was found in the rise span ratio of camber, speed and other factors. Comfort was analyzed by the effect of the camber about the Chao-yang si Bridge. The result is comfortable. Distribution curve along the span is advised.(3) Some factors were discussed about the multi-span continuous rigid-frame bridge in closure operation. At the time, some calculation formulas are derived. For example, smallest cross-section area about a stiff skeleton, the relationship of horizontal force and displacement, the temperature stress on stiff skeleton and so on. Also "The Law about displacement equivalent" was established. The superiority of this method was verified, based on the pilot project.(4) For Chao-yang-si Bridge, the closure scheme was given as follow: first, middle span; second, near middle span; at last, side-span.
