Variable-speed constant-frequency (VSCF) operation is a new high efficient technology for power generation, which has a good future in the field of wind power generation. This paper analyzed the performance characteristic of wind turbine and the principle of optimum utilization of wind-energy, analyzed the mathematical model of doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG), a schematic is given about the power flow in generator. It selected the dual PWM converter aimed at the demand of rotor energy bidirectional flow, the control strategy for VSCF doubly-fed wind power generator based on stator flux orientation is proposed, realized the optimum utilization of wind-energy, analyzed the control strategy of DFIG for unblanced supply. Using MATLAB the simulation model of VSCF is built, the simulation of the interconnected performance characteristic of VSCF under the proposed control strategy is conducted. Simulation results show that the proposed control strategy is reasonable and feasible.
