Since reform and opening up, the rapid socio-economic development and a relative shortage supply of conventional energy formed an irreconcilable contradiction. With scientific and technological development, straw generation become the most promising development of an industry. In recent years, large and small, straw power plants have established throughout the country.This article at first research that there is a lot of crop stalks resources in China , It has indicated that China has the resources advantage to the development of power generation. But some of Straw's own physical characteristics and chemical properties to a collection of straw has brought difficulties. In this paper, by the survey method, the collection of existing Straw power plants economic data, The results showed that the higher cost of straw power generation, power generation costs to 0.52 yuan / Kwh, than thermal power costs (0.35 yuan / Kwh) higher than 0.17 yuan / Kwh. The cost of power generation in a straw, Raw material costs and fixed costs occupy the largest proportion , were 55% and 20%.
