As the wider use of electronic devices, power system harmonics problems are getting much worse. Most of these devices use the rectifier diode which can't be controlled. The non-linear devices cause the input current distortion .It has become a major source of the power grid harmonic.This paper studies the single-stage power factor correction circuit, analyses control strategy, uses Matlab to prove that the average current control is the optimal method. This paper presents a innovative Flyboost converter, which contains both Flyboost boost circuit and Flyback circuit's characteristics. So we study the boost and Flyback circuit, analyze of the PFC circuit principle. We use those in the Flyboost circuit.This paper introduces the concept of direct power transmission, and makes a detailed analysis of the circuit's working principles and structure of the topology, discusses the problem of the single-stage PFC circuit buffer with high voltage capacitor, lists several solutions, and chooses one of solutions as the experimental circuit. The simulation analysis shows that this Flyboost circuit not only can obtain high power factor and low-voltage of the energy storage buffer capacitor, but also improve the overall efficiency of Energy Transfer unit.
