In recent years, switching power supplies and other power electronic devices have been used more and more in our daily life and production, but with it,harmonic pollution to the power grid is also becoming more and more serious.Power factor correction(PFC: Power Factor Correction)technology has become an important measure to suppress harmonics, improve power factor and energy efficiency with good correction performance and stable control performance. An average current-controlled Boost PFC circuit has been used and applied to the servo drive developed by the research group to improve the overall power factor and energy efficiency. The main research content of this topic is as follows:Firstly, working modes and control methods of different power factor correction technologies have been analyzed and compared. And the control strategy and circuit topology used in this topic has been determined. The mathematical model of the average current method Boost PFC circuit used in the project was established. The current loop and voltage loop in the circuit were analyzed. The requirements of the current loop and voltage loop combined with the servo driver were improved.Secondly, the Simulink simulation model of the average current method Boost PFC main circuit and control circuit is established. The on-line simulation technology is used to verify the correctness of the control method and circuit topology used in this project. Finally, based on Cadence, the hardware of the circuit is designed, and the actual PFC circuit structure is built. It is applied to the servo driver developed by the research group, and the entire power factor correction system is tested and debugged. The results show that the average current method Boost PFC circuit designed by this subject can meet the corresponding design indexes and international standards in terms of function and performance.Through the performance test of the system, this circuit has a power factor of 0.99 and a total harmonic distortion rate of 4.38% at a load of 1.5 k W.This circuit can not only be applied to servo drives, but also can be applied to other small and medium power loads.
