Non-linearity is the hot spot in comtemprory scientific field. It relates to natrual and Humanity social sciences,Philosophy,and many other subjects. Though its concept and natrue is still being dicovering, it has undoubtly influenced people's way of thinking besides their view points towards the world and has being playing vital role in many kinds of research of front discipline.Meanwhile, a series of great changes have been taken place in Architecture world. Modenisim lost its leading place, a variaty of different conflicting principles and styles coexit. This historical pieriod happens to agree with that of non-linearity's being discovered, and non-linear thinking has truely brought in fresh air to architec -ture design via the transformation of the idea about time and space as well as the organization rule and its ethetic priciples of the world's complex phenomenon.Precisely under this background, the article hopes to clear off some hint points from kinds of front Architecture phenomenon, analys and carry on some induction to nonlinearity's combining site on Architecture design, and make an experimental discussion on how to use it to advantage.The aritical began with an introduction of basic knowledge about non-linearity and its key theory. A brief review was carried out on Architecture's Non-linearity characteristic and there was a description about the course by which Non-linear thinking started to affect Architectural design. Based on research by contemperory Architects in and abroad on non-linearity, choas, fractas and other relative theories, the main part of the article detailedly elaborated the Architecture'form and architect's language characteristic guided by non-linear thinking, and tried to summarize it's main characteristic in architecture field. The ending part analysed the significance and disadvantage of non-linear thinking's application on Architecture as objectively as possible, descriped their tight relationship and its contribution to Architectrue probe as a guiding tool of Epistemology and Methodology.
