The mineral light is the elementary equipment for miner workers which it's characteristics of safe function strongly related to workers' life. The mineral light produced internal with the power of sealed rechargeable battery take a lot of proportion in real applications. The mineral light of KS model take more than 90% in applications. But as the traditional mineral lights with the power of sealed rechargeable battery have to adding water for maintain. The battery's density of electrolyte will drop if the controlling of adding water is not perfect. It also can hurt miners and decent the usage of battery if the electrolyte leak out. Although the mineral light without maintain has been developed on it's old mineral light, it requires high precision of charge equipment and the battery need more complicated technical procedure, it has short life time. These kind of mineral light increase miners' load because of it's weight and volume.With the development of batteries mineral light with all kinds of battery power appeared, such as Nickel-Hydride battery and Lithium Ion battery. Nickel-Hydride mineral light has the defect of high self-discharge and the risk of explosion under high temperature and pressure. The Lithium Ion mineral light has the same trouble .This paper propose the design of new mineral light with Phosphoric Acid Iron Lithium Ion battery and big power LED. It is expected to make up or resolve the defect of current mineral light.Controlling circuit and protecting circuit is the key point in the design of new Acid Iron Lithium Ion battery mineral light. So this two aspects is the paper's major study, follows are the detail of contents.Design the whole principle of the mineral light and the parameter of the mineral light circuit under the request of < The in General Use Request of the Safe Function of the Mineral Light>. Select the Suitable parameter of Lithium Ion battery and LED for the mineral light. Study the charge mode for Lithium Ion battery and LED drive mode. According to the study, design the controlling circuit and LED driving circuit. And giving the method to select and calculate the components in the circuit.In order to test and verify the effectiveness of the controlling circuit, The major parameters of circuit is experimented and measuring them in the real circuit .The data measured in the circuit has been analyzed, The result of analyzing data are in the line with the design above.
