AC drive has become the most fundamental mode in the drive field. With the development of the electrical motor theories, modern power electronics techniques, microprocessor techniques and advanced control theories, the application of AC servo technology is more and more extensive. As a result of its outstanding control performance, Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM) is applied more and more to AC servo system. Therefore, it is quite significant to study Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor servo system based on the DSP.Based on analyzing the structure and characteristic of PMSM, its mathematic models in several coordinates are set up. The basic principles of the Direct Torque Control (DTC) is introduced, advantages and disadvantages are also mentioned in this paper. In order to improve the motor performance, the Direct Torque Control based on space vector modulation is proposed for synchronous moter. Direct Torque Control using Space Vector Modulation (SVM-DTC) scheme is discussed and the detailes are designed, including choosing and modulating space vector choosing and modulating, to overcome the control difficulties coming with' the chataceristic of low inductance. Comparing with the basic DTC, the simulation results prove the feasibility and good performance of this strategy. Based on the theory and the simulation, the experimental results verify the feasibility of the SVM-DTC.PMSM is a nonlinear system with significant coupling. This paper applies the precision linearzation theory. The appropriate coodinate transformation and nonliear state feedback are obtained through Lie derivativing the output varialble, with which the PMSM system is input-output linearized. Furthermore, which realizes the completely dynamic decoupling. On the base, the general sliding mode control is applied to the permanent magnet synchronous motor with precision linearization model. Simulation results indicate that the ideal performance is received by this algorithm.
