In this paper, the digital controller applied to the driving system of the asphalt concrete transfer is researched. Transfer is a sort of project machine who developed in short order. It works between truck and asphalt concrete paver and it feed asphalt concrete from truck to paver. The capability of transfer driving control system is very important to improve the quality of asphalt road surface, increase the security and prevent road disrepair forepart. It can bring forth a mass of society benefit and economy benefit. Through analyzing and discussing the composition, working principle and control method of typical hydraulic driving system of transfer at home and abroad, the paper studies the detail control system of the hydraulic driving system. With the PLC controller from EPEC company, the hardware of the digital controller of the driving system of transferis designed. The paper puts out a specific control strategy to control the machine's running forwards and backwards, starting, braking, accelerating and decelerating, turning right and left, and or so, stand steering and tracking. At the same time, this paper puts great emphasis on the study of constant velocity and automatic tracking technology and integrates the PID algorithm into the design of the digital controller. With CODSYS programmable language, the software of whole driving system of transfer is designed. The paper carries out the simulation and analysis of dynamic characteristics through the simulating model set up by CODSYS software. Based on applying theorem of the mean to the preventive impulse intruder filter, this paper resolves the problem of tine impulse intruder that caused by execrable work condition.At the same time, on the basis of the simulation result and industrial test, the software is perfect. And it proves that the control system of the hydraulic driving and PID algorithm are successful. Finally, the function and property of the EPEC controller are verified by the test.
