Because the structure undergoes the common influence of usage load and various abrupt factors in the service period, from the beginning, it faces a problem that structure damage. Damage continuously accumulate and development along with the increment of the structure usage time, it will result in reducing structural reliability, and destroy the whole structure under the extreme circumstance. It has important theories worth and realistic meaning to carry healthy monitor for the current civil engineering structure and the infrastructure, in order to discover damage as early as possible , the availably preventing and repairing measure will be adopted in time.This text combines the local and outside research present condition of structure damage detection realm to carry on a research to the ancient tower by the data fusion and the algorithm of damage detection and identification. The main work includes several aspects as follows:1. Adopting the improved MAC Criteria to judge structural damage. It analysis the damage determination of an ancient tower, the result show that the damage exist when the calculating COMAC value with 1 differ greatly.2. Adopting three kinds of damage detection method respectively--modal shape curvature method, modal flexibility ratio variety rate method and displacement feature parameter method--to localize damage for single damage tower body. The entity model of SAP2000 for the tower body before and after damage are built up, and the data of two models are compared. The damage location of the tower will be determinate effectively by making use of three damage identification method and the model of tower structure.3. The result of three kinds of damage detection method are contrasted, the good and bad of three kinds of methods and each intelligent degree for damage are compared.4. Fusing the result of three kinds of damage detection method, and localize damage for the tower body. It eliminates the disadvantageous influence through data fusion of damage localization by each damage detection method. First, ex-three vibrating types which are from each kind of damage detection method are carried on data fusion to the result of same race examination method; Secondly, by data fusion to the result of three kinds of damage detection method, it get the damage location as final result and determinates the accurate damage location of the tower body, Finally give an accurate result.5. Make use of the result of the end tower body structure damage detection, multiple data fusion of damage detection method has more advantage than single data fusion by compared multiple and single data fusion of damage detection method. The result of detection is accurate and dependable and it fits together with actual damage position.
