The main subject of this test is the structure characteristics of the saturated original loess. Through comparing the results of compression test and conventional triaxial drainage shear test based on the saturated original loess and the saturated remodeled loess, we get the law of the stress and stain characteristics and strength characteristics which is effected by structure of the saturated original loess.According to the major factor which effects the saturated original loess and predecessors' theoretical foundation, we make a structure parameter. The structure parameter can reflect the structure decay of the saturated original loess with stress increasing and the development of plastic deformation. By a lot of spreadsheet and model testing, we proved that this structure parameter is reasonable and applicable. We make the space of non-structural soil as a reference stress space, and the space of structural soil as a general stress space. We assume that they share similar yield surface. Through the way of stress transformation, introduce the structural parameter into super-consolidated soil constitutive model based on Hvorslev yield surface, and set a new constitutive model which can reflect both the structure and super-consolidation of the saturated original loess. The new model is simple and clear, and all the parameters can be determined by common laboratory testing, moreover, the results of model prediction and laboratory test agree well. This shows that the new model could well reflect the stress and strain characteristics and strength characteristics of the saturated original loess. So, the new model is expected to be applied in the calculation of actual projects.
